The Echo is a hand-held SWR Antena Tuner Meter Analyzer , Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, and Frequency Domain Reflectometer (FDR) in one instrument. Echo models come in frequency ranges of 4MHz-to-1.0GHz or 4MHz-to-2.5GHz. The VIA Echo Network Analyzer was designed for performing antenna testing and tuning, transmission line testing and fault locating, cellular site turn-up testing and troubleshooting. It can be used for individual component testing, system or network testing. In a production environment Echo can be used to verify components and assemblies the same as equivalent (old HP) Network Analyzers at a fraction of the cost.Vector Impedance Analyzer

The VIA Echo’s all come with two ports, S11 and S21, to perform both reflective and loss/gain measurements. The full suit of test parameters in the Echo instruments are:

  • SWR Antena Tuner Meter Analyzer
  • Return Loss (dB)
  • Phase Angle
  • Reactance (X)
  • Resistance (R)
  • Impedance (Z)
  • Gamma Magnitude
  • Gamma Angle
  • Linear Gain
  • Phase Gain
  • Spectrum Analysis (specific models)
  • Frequency Domain Reflectometer (specific models)
  • Power Meter (specific models)

In addition to being a 1.0GHz or 2.5GHz Network Analyzer, the Echo is light at 2.2lbs (1Kg), compact, rugged, and weather resistant. It is portable and operates about 3 hours on a single charge. It has a backlit quarter VGA display that can show any two measurements bother graphically and digitally and a third measurement digitally only. Echo is self-calibrating and has a “Cable Null” feature, user friendly menus, and comes complete with a calibration load set.

Supporting Software - Echo PC Vision is supplied with every Echo to upload, customize, save, and print test results. Echo can be operated in remote control via the USB 2.0 connection with Echo PC Vision or upload any of 250 tests stored in its memory. Echo PC Vision adds full color graphics, Smith Chart and Spectrum Analyzer views with color markers

Vector Impedance AnalyzerThe VIA Bravo product line is a family of general purpose vector impedance analyzers used to measure impedance and resonant frequencies of circuits and antennas from 100 kHz to 200 MHz. VIA Bravo analyzers are available in both single port (S11) and dual port (S11/S21) versions. Applications include Commercial Radio, Aviation, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

The VIA Bravo is a handheld Vector Impedance Analyzer for measuring the impedance & resonant frequencies of circuits and antennas. The Analyzer has the capability of providing accurate measurements and sweep displays of impedance, reactance, resistance, phase angle, return loss, SWR, and relative spectrum analysis. The VIA Bravo's testing functionality, combined with its 100 kHz to 200 MHz frequency range, make it a versatile tool for many service applications. The VIA Bravo is being used in areas such as MRI, wireless telemetry, 2 way radio, aviation, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

The VIA Bravo Analyzer is available in three versions with the capability of simultaneously displaying two separate measurement graphs and the respective scales.

The versions include the standard S11 Bravo, the eXtra Fine frequency resolution S11 Bravo XF, and the full S21 network analyzer Bravo II. A Smith Chart displaying the measured circuit impedances is also available using the Bravo PC Vision software in conjunction with a PC.

The Bravo PC Vision Software application, included with the VIA Bravo!, provides the user with the capability of remotely operating the VIA Bravo through a serial port connection while viewing Real-Time results on a P.C. The software makes the capture, storage, and printing of documentation and reports easy.

The VIA Bravo has proven to save time, improve on reliability and quality, and reduce service wait time.
